The 6th Annual General Meeting of FFSC was held on 24th September 2021 via video conferencing with the core focus on Mission 2025.
The role of FFSC Regional Skill Chapters, FFSC Skill Pavilion, FFSC Skill Academies/COEs in achieving the goal to Skill – ReSkill – UpSkill 5,00,000 aspirants by 2025-26 was detailed.
The main purpose of the FFSC Regional Skill Chapters is to conduct the Skill Gap analysis at the regional level and provide the solutions locally.
FFSC will focus on the formation of Skilling Academies, Certification of Existing workforce and corpus creation through the regional chapters. FFSC shared10 proposed locations of the FRSC with the members and made an appeal to the members to take up responsibility for setting up the FRSC in various regions and support the initiative.
The concept of the Skill Pavilion was shared with the information that talks are underway with DGT to setup the Skill Pavilion in Gurgaon with their support.
FFSC Skill Pavilion will act as a model training centre and be utilized for multiple activities like Training of Trainer, WorldSkills/IndiaSkills candidates, customized training for Industry, and support the Skill Academies.
FFSC skill academies are based on the hub and spoke level. Concept note of the Beginner level and Apprenticeship level academies at the spoke level and the Centre of Excellence (COEs) at the hub level were shared.
