Talent is the ability to carry out a specific task with predictable results and good execution, frequently in a limited amount of time, energy, or both. Domain-general and domain-specific abilities are commonly distinguished. Time management, teamwork and leadership, self-motivation, and other general abilities are employed in the work domain, whereas domain-specific skills are used just for a certain job. Specific contextual triggers and situations usually are required to measure the level of skill being demonstrated and applied. Skilling means the action of training a worker to do a particular task.
Skilling means increasing or enhancing a person's existing knowledge or imparting practical training through vocational courses or training programs. This includes bridging the gap between demand and supply for skilled labour, developing a vocational and technical training framework, and developing new skills and inventive thinking for both existing and future jobs.
